Dr. Gray slams Gore Warnings: ‘We’ll look back and realize how foolish it was’:

Update:

Well I’m going to add some more … so many things have become trite and flavorless in our culture now. Something as important as a Nobel Peace prize, something given to people, ya know, who helped people escape certain death from Nazi death camps and survived themselves, then to be rightly granted the award, has become trite as well. Something that is clearly a theory and strongly debated in the scientific world itself has become fact among those elites who grant this once prestigious award. And on top of that, it is given to someone of the clearest hypocritical nature as Gore (the jets, SUV’s, houses, clearly not an environmentalist himself). The saddest thing to me about this is that people assuming the highest academic and cultured status in the world have now succumbed to the triteness infecting Western society. Something that once had meaning and depth has been made commonplace.

http://www.charlotte.com/109/story/314034.html

This was the headline on Drudgereport.com: “REDNECK RASH: Congressional staffers urged to get immunized for hepatitis A, hepatitis B, tetanus, diphtheria and influenza — before going to NASCAR races!”

Sandy Berger now advising Hillary Clinton

http://www.examiner.com/a-977346~He_s_b … inton.html

Maybe he’ll advise her that it’s possible to get into the National Archives, snatch documents, and get away with it without prison time or really any major consequences at all … everyone knows that if he had been a Republican, he would have been fried for that. Just look at Sen. Larry Craig … he gets caught doing something that in my mind, at least on a national security level, is far less harmful than stealing classified documents and he gets totally burned for it, while on the other hand a Democrat can go into the National Archives, steal classified documents, and get away with it. Just fascinating the double-standards. Why wasn’t there a media circus whenever the thing with Sandy Berger came out in the same way there was with Larry Craig?

What do you think?

Do you think this guy did anything wrong? People in the audience don’t seem to think so as you can hear in the video … granted he did kind of lose it there, but what did he initially do? Just asked a question? And was the tazing really necessary by the police? In the second video they said he was inciting a riot? Please …

Petraeus assessment on Iraq questioned

Of course it is, why would anyone think it wouldn’t be? Absurd … and MoveOn.org? What a disgraceful organization. http://www.westerfunk.net/archives/poli … 9.10.2007/ Did people speak like this during World War II? Would we have won the fight if the troops always heard such nay-saying all the time? And would the government have put up with such non-sense back then? I don’t think so …

America’s Hackable Backbone – Forbes.com

There are many fronts in which it seems we are falling behind on security. This article highlights the possibility of a nuclear power plant getting hacked with the result being major power outages within the region of the plant that is attacked.

Little Too Close to Home – Literally

“Police: Thieves Break Into 30 Cars At FW Apartments”

This is right across the interstate from where I live. Glad I got the motion-detecting webcam running that emails me snapshots when there is movement 🙂

This article http://www.myfoxdfw.com/myfox/pages/New … geId=3.2.1 says, “It appears the burglars were targeting expensive items like Global Positioning Systems and iPods.”

Also: In June I got a snapshot at about 2:03 in the morning of some random guy that walked up to my house (after leaving my garage door cracked to let the hot air out) and he checked it out for about 5 minutes, then left. I suspect he was probably just scoping it out to see if it was feasable without making too much of a ruckus. Wonder if this could be the guy:
