Well It’s About Time Amnesty Spoke Out Against Terrorists!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060914/ts_ … amnesty_dc

Was it really that hard to be consistent, Amnesty? You decry all the “foul-play” committed by the U.S. on a fairly consistent basis and just now you come out and say something negative about those who want to cut your head off too? Well I don’t want to go off on that so much as just give credit where credit is due, and I appreciate the fact that you finally said something against extremists instead of simply trying to protect them like you always do. Israel at least made an effort to try and not hit Lebanese civilians whereas Hizbollah made a concerted effort to hit highly populated civilian areas in northern Israel. Yeah I think they are guilty of war crimes …

Please, Tie our Hands so that we can get hit again

Great, here we go again, some activist judge rules that warrantless wiretaps are “unconstitutional”. Have these people any understanding that there are people who want to kill us? Do they realize how much red tape they are creating for law enforcement officials who keep terrorists attacks from occurring here? And it’s funny how these are the very same people who cry and moan about how the CIA, NSA and FBI aren’t doing enough to protect us when terrorists attacks occur (e.g. 9/11). Liberalism is going to destroy this country and we will get hit again because of people like this …

Diplomacy Won’t Work with Terrorists

I just don’t get how anyone can say the solution to our world-wide war on terror is more diplomacy. It doesn’t work with terrorists! Just the notion is an oxymoron in this case. On a day when we realize terrorists plotted to blow up planes using liquid explosives kept in shampoo bottles (amongst other mediums), how can we possibly say the answer is diplomacy? These people actually want to kill all of us. They keep devising of ways to kill us, and they’re getting pretty darn good at it. And they won’t stop, not now, not in the future. If you were a U.S. official, and you went to try and have a diplomatic meeting, it’s very likely they would ambush you and your entire group. They don’t try and workout their issues. They have resolved to kill us. And they will not stop until it’s done. All of you out there who want diplomacy to be the solution, just remember, they want to cut your head off too and kill your family too. They don’t negotiate and neither should we. They need to be killed, not tried in our courts. This is war. War is ugly. But we must persevere in order to win it. They won’t stop coming and neither should we stop pulverizing them until this thing is over.

The Sensationalization of Major Media

It used to be that you would see actual news on the front page of major news papers and websites. But now, major media outlets are resorting to the same antics as that of the National Enquirer and other tabloids. “Watch Video! Bush saying naughty word!” Who cares? This is absurd. Journalism in the West is going down the tubes. It’s no longer about legitimate news, but all about making someone else look bad and slandering them. It’s no longer professional in any manner. And if it involves Bush, then CNN will leave it up as the main topic on their front page all day long … good grief. Leave it to the far-left to pander to our enemies and enjoy their same spirit of Bush-hating! As if many far-left leaders themselves don’t swear all the time and work to lower the bar on what level of cursing is accepted within the media … hypocrites. Why is this even that big of a deal? Rhetorical question: it’s not.

Ah, So Some Far-Left Liberals are Communist Sympathizers

Cindy Sheehan admits she would rather live under Hugo Chavez’s rule than Bush’s – (MSN Video)

I’m not one to label all liberals communists. That’s absurd. But this sure did catch my attention today, and proves that at least some liberals are indeed communist sympathizers and would rather live under that system than our democratic one. Yeah okay, Cindy, why don’t you walk what you’re talking, go and live down in Venezuela under that communist regime and tell me exactly what things are like. Why don’t you tell of the oppression, violence, guerilla war-fare, drug-related violence along the Colombian border, the disease, poverty, and the unstable economy where the leaders irresponsibly have their economic stake primarily in oil (the price of which fluctuates so violently). Yeah let’s see how much you like the conditions there vs. the conditions within the U.S. under the Presidency of Bush, where you have the freedom to think and speak what you please, as well as the economic support that gives your whole agenda life. A lot of hot air coming our of this lady … I mean if people don’t like it here, why don’t they just leave? I don’t get it. Why stay here if you feel so persecuted? Why not just move on to what you deem to be the ideal, perfect government, in this case a communist country?

Praise God for the Freedom of this Nation

It’s purely the grace of God that we have sustained the freedom we have for 230 years. Praise God for His grace that moved the founders of this nation to formulate the doctrines they did, that have proved to be a great blessing to all of us. And praise God for giving soldiers the will to fight to the death for that freedom. And praise God for the fact that at the moment we aren’t persecuted and can preach the Gospel without fear of being beaten or tortured. Praise God for His grace in Christ that He purchased the freedom of souls from the reign and bondage of sin. Praise God for His grace through the blood of Christ!

West sets new deadline for Iran: July 12

West sets new deadline for Iran: July 12

My question is: what does it matter? What is the Western world going to do? I never have understood Western “deadlines” or UN deadlines. (Understand I’m talking about the West as a whole, not necessarily just the U.S.) We have turned into a passive, reactive people. Okay, you set a deadline, they don’t come through, the deadline passes, so what are you going to do now? Nothing. What, set another deadline that again proves you will do nothing? Many oppose military force, so what else can you do? Impose economic restrictions? You think the Iranian leader cares? Surely not. This is why the U.S. winds up doing something about problems like this eventually because everyone else is just wringing their hands and passively sitting around in hopes the offending country comes around. But they never do. Dictators do not negotiate, unless you put military pressure on them. Even economic pressure doens’t work a lot of times. Have we not learned this lesson from history? (i.e. North Korea being a modern example, those people are starving and their leader could care less).

One thing the West doesn’t get is that the Islamic world-view is totally different than the Western world-view. I’m not at all saying we should not have gone to Iraq, but I do think that trying to push a Western world-view on an Islamic society is like trying to mix oil and vinegar into one substance. Muslims want Sharia law to rule the land, they want a theocracy. A Western world-view does not work well with a theocracy. In the context of negotiating though with leaders we are opposed to, the same concept applies. They do not negotiate as we do. When they set their mind to something, they want to carry it through to the end. Our policy-makers seem to not understand that the Islamic mindset will not compromise on their values the way the West does. They know we are a shifty people, saying one thing and doing another. We’ve proved that to be the case. (Again, understand I’m talking about the West as a whole, not necessarily just the U.S., Iraq proves the U.S. is still willing to take action). They stand their ground and they know we don’t. What they have learned from the West is that our “deadlines” mean absolutely nothing. They know we are simply trying to get them to the “table” and talk about the issues. But the Iranians have already made up their minds. Negotiating with these people is highly foolish on our part. Even if an agreement is made with them, they are so deceitful they will carry through with their plans anyway while we are deceived that we’re actually making progress.

So what’s the answer? Very simply, in order to take care of the problem quickly, military force is needed. I don’t think we have any other option. Negotiations don’t work with this world-view. I don’t like military action, we’re already in a war in Iraq, but has not history been a proving ground for people like Ahmadinejad, what eventually becomes of their dictatorial power? If we could have taken Hitler out before he gained the power he did in Europe, do you not think we would have done it before millions of people died? What’s to say we aren’t a decade away from an Islamic-initiated world war? Think it couldn’t happen? Who would have thought in 1933 that Hitler would have been expanding Nazi rule throughout Europe and North Africa less than a decade later? In order to gain long-term peace, sometimes it is necessary to go through short-term conflict. Iran is no exception. We do not want them to become North Korea (possessing nuclear weapons), but if we sit around wringing our hands, it is inevitable this will be the outcome. They want Israel to disappeaer and if they gain the military might to make it so, I have no doubt they will attempt to make it happen and surely the West will be a target after that (As if it already isn’t a target by extremists).

Climatologists Respond to Gore’s Claims

Scientists respond to Gore’s warnings of climate catastrophe – Canada Free Press

“[Professor] Carter does not pull his punches about Gore’s activism, ‘The man is an embarrassment to US science and its many fine practitioners, a lot of whom know (but feel unable to state publicly) that his propaganda crusade is mostly based on junk science.'”

I thought this was an interesting article, proving my point from the last blog entry, that many top-ranking liberals live in a false reality based on non-evidence. But again, you won’t see this in the headlines on any major news site, because that would thwart the liberal agenda (the agenda being to simply get political clout back, not to actually help or represent the American people). Scientists agree there is a slight warming trend in the average temperature of the earth, but most agree that it is not the result of the pollution caused by man, and specifically almost all climatologists disagree with Gore’s assessments. Gore simply has an agenda, and the agenda is not to rid the world of pollution (because he himself has been flying back and forth from one place to another to promote this film), but his real agenda is to take political clout away from conservatives and turn people’s attention to liberals. But again, it failed miserably, and he spent millions of dollars in the process that he could have used to reduce pollution himself! I mean who really wants to see a movie where Gore talks for two hours about the climate, based on a few fringe scientists who are, for the most part, not climatologists to begin with? Please …

The Integrity of the “Rove Indictment Pusher’s”

In an effort to try and thwart the cabinet of President Bush, there are those who have desired to see Karl Rove go down in flames, and thus Bush’s cabinet. And yet today it was announced that Karl Rove will not be indicted of any crime. However, those people pushing for Karl Rove to be indicted have been very slow to respond and say anything concerning this. Instead of coming out and saying, “Well, we were wrong,” they just keep silent and move on to the next non-thing to attack and act as if they never said anything. When the data came out showing that there was no basis for a charge, it proves that every word they uttered concerning Karl Rove was complete vanity. To me though, this just illustrates the integrity and honesty of these individuals and proves that they cannot be trusted. The whole thing was an agenda based on non-information to try and dissolve the cabinet of Pres. Bush and it failed miserably. When someone is desperate to see someone else go down, they will do whatever they can to try and take them out. But it didn’t work. Karl Rove had nothing to do with the CIA leak case. There is no evidence. And those opponents of Bush have nothing to say about it. You won’t see it in any of the headlines on the most prominent liberal media sites (liberal media = NBC/MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, New York Times, LA Times, Wash Post) because it’s a failure by liberals to try and hurt Bush. Man what a waste of time, money and energy they could have been using to fix Gore’s theoretical environment problems! And this seems to be the nature of the liberal mind-set (though not true for all liberals): living a false reality, spending time conceiving of things that don’t exist, based on evidence that is not there. And in the end, it never works out. They may have the spotlight shined on them for a time, but once the facts come out, their party is over. And this is just one case amongst many.

Rove Won’t Be Charged in CIA Leak Case

Update (12:45 p.m.)

And to illustrate my point that many liberals live in a false reality (including top-ranking liberal officials in the government), this morning on the Today Show, DNC Chairman Dean said, “That does not excuse [Rove’s] real sin which is leaking the name of an intelligence operative during the time of war.” Give me a break. They just won’t let up will they? It’s over! It’s done! He’s cleared of all possible charges! What do they not get about this? The facts are in, Dean. He’s innocent. They just will not submit to facts, and thus reality. Why does anyone pay any attention to these people?

Finally! – U.S. Crackdown Set Over Hiring of Immigrants

U.S. Crackdown Set Over Hiring of Immigrants

Well, finally, I have some news that makes me proud of the authorities in this country. Apparently the Department of Homeland Seurity will start cracking down on the employers who hire illegal immigrants. These illegal practices (both the employers and the employees practices) are bad for the econonomy, 1) because the employers pay the illegals below the minimum wage level, which then in turn 2) doesn’t give the employees a decent amount of money to put back into the economy, and 3) the employers get out of paying taxes like everyone else, plus 4) it’s just simply illegal, and illegal practices are always bad for the economy in the long-run. I believe this is the best route to go for taking care of this illegal immigration problem. We don’t need to round people up and deport them, we don’t need to give citizenship to people just because they are here, we just need to cut off their source of pay: the employers who hire them. I think this will also send a very clear message to businesses within our society that this is serious business and it’s wrong. The employers are doing the illegals a disservice as well by encouraging them to live as outcasts of society. So this whole crackdown, if it pans out, will be the best solution to take care of the problem.
